Palma Ceia
Palma Ceia is home to some of Tampa’s most prestigious homes, as well as many of its more established families who belong to the first circle of South Tampa high society. “Palma Silla” as referred to by early Spanish speaking settlers is thought to be the “seat” or “base” of the Palm or so is speculated upon by many Tampa historians. The antique, red brick roads shaded by enormous oaks and its intimate neighborhood character make Palma Ceia a colonnade of beautiful homes centrally located within Tampa’s Interbay peninsula. Palma Ceia has maintained consistent appeal to Tampa natives since the early 1920′s. Renowned golf course frontage and immediate access to major transportation corridors contribute to this neighborhood’s attractiveness.
